Disconnect the negative (-) battery.

Remove the rear bumper.
(Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Cover") |
3. |
Disconnect the BSD connector (A) from the BSD unit. |
4. |
Remove the BSD assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws and fasteners. |
5. |
Remove the BSD unit (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation |
1. |
Ready the radar sensor RH and LH for each side properly. |
2. |
Install the radar sensor to the bracket correctly (distinguish RH & LH) with mounting nuts.

3. |
Connecto the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
4. |
When replacing the BSD unit , you have to input the detailed
regional information into the BSD unit. This learning process is called
variant coding.
