Kia Optima Hybrid: Fuel Delivery System / Accelerator Pedal Repair procedures

Removal
1.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).

3.
Remove the mounting nuts (B) and bolt (C), and then remove the accelerator pedal module.

Installation
1.
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Accelerator pedal module mounting bolt:
8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
Accelerator pedal module mounting nut:
9.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.9 lb-ft)
